Venessia.com is a very interesting blog, created by Stefano Soffiato some years ago, about the many troubles of this old and famous city now ruled by idiot and ignorant merchants and cheap tourism bad managers. They are distroying Venice and its lagoon. Venessia.com, restlessly, try to denounce the lack of good managment and respect for the city and her citizens. Take a look at the “funeral of Venice”, a symbolical rowing cerimony along the Gran Canal to celebrate the official fall of the local population under 60,000 units. In 1595 we were 195,000.
